Happy Thanksgiving to all

Happy Thanksgiving to all our Family and Friends.  We are celebrating this year in Logan with Matt's family. This picture was taken in his parents backyard, and it is a little deceiving.  I had planned to get some family pictures taken, but it was so cold that we could not be outside for very long, so this was one of 3 pictures taken.  You cannot see the frost on the ground, I think it was 2o something degrees today!  So don't expect any Christmas cards with our family on the front, maybe next year.

TAA DAA - They are complete.

I got the bin pulls today, they were correct.  Never mind the $40 in extra shipping charges that I paid for.  They look fantastic, they match the card holders I had for the file drawers. I love them.  Any way, here are the final pictures, like I said before the pictures don't show how good they look, and the room isn't shaped for picture taking.  But I love my production room, I have my computer out of my bedroom finally, Matt has a desk for doing his homework, I have my project table for doing the vinyls on, it also is great for cutting fabric and I'm looking forward to wrapping Christmas presents on it.  I have a TV in here for the kids complete with a cable box, DVD player, and a Super Nintendo.  Next to the TV is my sewing machine, I might get those pants hemmed for Nate that have been sitting around for 6 months.  It is a great room, I'm looking forward to decorating it to. Displaying some of the vinyls and my kids pictures.  Yea!

I really am a DUMMY!

I got the new bin pulls, the boring width is perfect, the finish however is incorrect.  In my haste of having the wrong size last time I ordered polished nickel instead of brushed!  I am going to try one more time, and no matter what I get in this next package they are going on the desk!  I have been using it, i just can close the drawers yet!  I love it though.  I two-day shipped the 3rd order of bin pulls so here's hoping.

I'm a Dummy

So I got my bin pulls today - wrong boring width.  It would have been the right width if I had chosen a different bin pull but for the ones I chose the boring was wrong.  I have ordered the right ones I really hope they get here Monday now!  But they are going to look great when the 4 inch ones come!

SOOOOO close!!!

They are all painted and varnished and the drawers are in.  To bad I forgot to order the bin pulls!!!  So I got them ordered tonight and hopefully they will be here in 5 days! Getting so close though. My right hand is so swollen, I hurt it playing softball this last summer and after using the clamps to hold the boards in place to route and gripping the router and the nail gun and the paint brush and even holding the can and pressing the nozzle to spray on the varnish. The tendon between my pointer finger and my thumb is so swollen and it hurts so bad.  I was attaching the legs to the desktop on Matt's desk and I had to wrap my legs around them and use my whole body to try and alleviate some the the stress from my hand while holding the drill, and I couldn't do it.  I finally had to have Matt come in and finish drilling in the screws.  But I'm so excited they look so good, the pictures really don't do them a lot of justice.  I hope you will come and see them.  They were a lot of work but totally worth it.  This shows the corner desk and Matt's desk, I will take more pictures when the bin pulls get here. so you can see the project table to.
