Happy 4th of July !!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July, we were able to celebrate In Centerville on the 3rd, with Barry and Kelli's Family. The kids got to ride in a bike parade, and then we watched a concert in the park, and then fireworks to end the night. It was a good time. Today, the forth, we did nothing :) it was great we slept in ands sat around the house. We can see quite a few firework shows right from our house so we sit outside and watch from the front yard. It was fun. Thanks to Brad and Holly, the cool neighbors who actually BUY fireworks, Chris and Sydney got to watch them and do some sparklers.

Baseball is over for the season

What a handsome guy. Chris had so much fun this year in baseball, met some good friends, had a great coach, and now is excited and looking forward to football.

A shout out to great family and great friends

For father's day I really wanted to surprise Matt with a gift, which can be hard. So I thought out a plan and I'll tell you what, the best laid plans are not always best! I got him a grill (how boring can you get, but it is a great upgrade from our previous grill). I bought it on Tuesday, so that I wouldn't be shopping on the Saturday before, I hid it in a friend's garage. My plan was to assemble it there and then sneak it to the backyard and then send Matt out to start the grill for our BBQ at which point he would discover his new grill. By the end of the day, that is what happened, but not so much in those exact circumstances! I could not have pulled this off without the help I got from Barry, Kelli, Lonny and Nate. so.... Thanks SOOO MUCH for the help. Matt did get his surprise and it was great.

Matt's New Truck

Matt finally found a truck. It's HUGE. :) He loves it. So I'm happy for him, plus it's to big to put in the garage so I like that too.
